How the tools work
The calculators run in your browser and do not need an account. The invoice generator stores only the business profile fields you choose to save in local browser storage. Customer and job information is not sent to a TradeKit server or saved for later by the tool.
Calculations are estimates and do not replace HMRC verification, tax advice or contract review. Payment periods, notice requirements, retention and VAT treatment can depend on your signed subcontract and jurisdiction. The tools link to official guidance and make key assumptions visible.
How TradeKit may be supported
TradeKit is currently an independent free resource. The planned support model is a modest mix of clearly disclosed referrals to relevant bookkeeping or business services, optional paid templates and carefully placed sponsorships. No paid listings or referral links are active in this first version. If these are introduced, commercial links will be labelled and the tools will remain usable without them.
