Terms and disclaimer

Please read these terms before relying on a TradeKit result. The tools are designed as practical working aids for UK construction subcontractors and small businesses.

General information only

TradeKit provides general information, estimates and browser-based tools. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, quantity-surveying or other professional advice. Results are not a determination of your rights, tax treatment, entitlement, contract valuation or payment obligation.

Check the source material and your own facts

You are responsible for entering accurate figures and checking the result against your signed contract, project records and current official guidance. Construction payment terms and procedures can vary by contract and by jurisdiction. HMRC tax rules can depend on the exact supply and parties involved. Official references are provided to help you verify the relevant rules.

Tool limits

Calculators may simplify a process and may not cover every exception, amendment, day-count rule, service requirement or tax treatment. A date comparison does not confirm that a notice is valid or properly served. An arithmetic estimate is not a payment demand or compliant tax document. The invoice generator creates a printable invoice draft; review it before sending.

Your data and device

Most calculations run in your browser. The invoice generator saves selected supplier profile fields in local browser storage on your device; customer and job details are not saved by that feature. See the Privacy notice for details.

Availability and changes

TradeKit is provided without a charge in this version. We may update, correct or remove a tool or guide as source rules and site features change. Do not rely on a saved result as a permanent record; keep your own contract documents and records.

Contact and applicable law

A monitored support contact has not yet been configured. These terms do not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable law and courts depend on the user and the circumstances.
